Kundan Rakdi

The rakdi is the signature head ornament of Rajasthani brides, worn at the parting of the hair. Ours keeps the classic shape: a rounded gold-tone dome with a flat, jewelled face that catches the light from every angle.

• Kundan face with an emerald-green centre stone, a ring of clear kundan stones and a red enamel-tone base
• Border of small white pearls around the face
• Pearl-bead string with red and green accent beads, ending in a hook to secure it in the hair
• Gold-tone finish with a polished dome at the back

How to wear it

Pin the hook into a centre parting and secure the dome just above the hairline. It suits a low bun or braid and pairs naturally with red, maroon or green bridal and festive outfits, and with kundan necklace sets such as our Kundan Set with Earrings.

Care
